(Solved) Multilevel tags for Core 1

After 4 years on DW I thought it's finally time to fix my tags page. From searching this comm I gathered that it's possible to give a Core 1 layout multilevel tags. Unfortunately that post isn't helpful to me, because
1. The link to the code is dead,
2. I only know HTML & CSS, so I need step-by-step instruction for this layer thing.

You could probably fix it with CSS. My tags CSS is just a flexbox now. So it rolls out sideways then down. I don't know if that would apply to your Tags problem - I don't use multi level tags.

I don't like messing with layers or LJ code much. So I'm no help in that area.

Otherwise, if you have an Insane Journal account, Tessisamess seems to have lots of coding answers that often translate to DW. She seems to be around and happy to spend fixing and sharing code.

Not a dev, only a supporrt volunteer, so can't help much, but I can direct you to the correct links! ( foxfirefey has good advice on the other entry, it should work the same.)

Thanks for trying to help. I tried the code as a theme layer, but that didn't work. Which then made me try the code (to which I've finally found the way again) I used on LJ instead and after compiling it said that functions can only be used in layout layers. So I tried putting the code you linked to in my Flexible Squares layout layer, but that gave me an error. After that I tried adding the code from LJ into that layer and that finally worked \o/.

So in conclusion: Sorry for kinda wasting your time - though you did help put me on the right path.

I'm support, I'm used to it taking a weird path with Core1.

(Eventually it will be deprecated and Core2 will be all there is...)
