Apparently DW's latest code push fixed a bug that had prevented the style I use (Ciel) from displaying "properly". Now, comments on my journal are all surrounded by a little border with rounded corners--which I'm told the designer originally intended, but it never showed up before because of the bug.

But here's the thing: I don't WANT those borders to be there. I liked my layout and was used to it without them.

So can anyone provide me with a bit of custom code that would remove those borders again? (Thanks in advance for any help.)

Hi all!

I just joined DW a few days ago, and I've managed to get my layout basically to how I want it to look. There are a few things I need help with, though:
  • I'd like to add a tiny one-pixel-wide border around my header, entries, modules, and entry comments, but am not sure what code to use.
  • I'd also like to put the titles of my entries and the headers of my modules in lower-case letters. I tried looking through the customization options, but there doesn't seem to be one for capitalization. :\
  • And lastly! I've noticed that the width of my header and layout are dynamic and change as I shrink the browser window. Is there any way to change both so that they are static?
I'd appreciate any help that anyone could offer me. :)

Border

The entry link bar on the main page of my journal has a grey background with no border, as it should. But if I click on the title of a post and open that entry, that same link bar now has a border on the bottom and half a border on the top. I would like to remove it, but I'm not sure what to change in my CSS. Hopefully, sombody here can help me out.

I'm currently in the process of customizing my journal, but ran into a problem on the way, but I know the grand total of nothing about CSS and am not even certain what caused it.

I am using this bit of code for a fixed background image, and while the image itself is fixed, my page continues to scroll, with a bit of no background image between navigation strip and page, as well as to the right side of the screen, and this driving me nuts. Since, when I scroll to the side, it is the entry content that is moving, could the problem be caused by the entry module width, or is it a background image issue? And more importantly, can this be fixed?

(The layout looks fine in Google Chrome, the problem appeared in Firefox.)

SOLVED: Secondly, Brittle forces the icon size to 70px with a 5px border. Is there a way to remove the border and display the icons in their original size?

Thanks so much in advance!
