Problem with replies in Flexible Squares

I'm having a strange problem in Flexible Squares. I could have sworn this setup used to work for making a quick reply box pop up, without having to reload the page, but I haven't messed with Flexible Squares on DW in well over a year. I had the old code I used for the custom layer and for my CSS, I imported my CSS from LJ. Now, I can't actually reply to any comments on the post itself. It reloads the page to a new reply page. I suspect it might be a problem with my custom layer, but I have no idea where to look for it.

Problem solved! There was a problem with my theme layer that was keeping the quick reply box from working. I found another version of the theme layer code by crush   that seems to have fixed the problem.

I never worked a lot with Flexible Squares so I can't speak to why it's missing or how to get it back, but your HTML is completely lacking the qrform/.quickreply divs and the corresponding Javascript that normally makes it work. foxfirefey, among a few others on DW, is really good at s2, so if she or they happen to see your post, maybe they could be of assistance. Sorry I don't know much more than that... (all I do know is I just checked my comm's theme layer, which is based on LJ's s2 Expressive, and there are two functions in it for .quickreply - one for printing the quickreply div within the entry body container, and another for printing it with any comments that are not frozen, which tells me maybe your custom theme layer is missing similar functions).
