Has anyone else had problems with Tabula Rasa recently?

I logged on on Monday and the main content width had suddenly got wider. I wouldn't mind, but it's as wide as my screen and I'm using a three-column layout, so now I can't see the columns and the reading area at the same time.

I'm not very good at explaining these things, so here's a link to a screenshot that might help.

I haven't changed anything since I first made it, so I've no idea what to do to fix it. Please help!

[Edit] Fixed, but I'd still like to know if anyone else has encountered anything like this, or if anyone has any ideas as to why it happened.

Yeah, happened to me with Transmogrified, a while ago - it was just after a code-push, though, so it probably messed with something unintentionally? (Unless they WANT giant layouts, Iono. I use a small screen, and a lot of sites seem to hate that. *shrugs*)

But yes! Is not so hard to fix, which is a nice thing.

Dear small screen user:

You have champions of accessibility in the styles team, worry not! We're not trying to make giant layouts.

Trying or not, at least two of the four default styles screw up on my small screen, so! *shrugs* Scepticism, I continue to has it.

Well, they refuse to consider non-fluid layouts until persistant style=mine is implemented, because of people on smaller screens. (Then you'll be able to just tell the site to always display things to you in your style, or the site's style, or the light style, so you can have something that works best with your small screen.) You can be skeptical about achievements, certainly, but I wouldn't be so about intentions. That is, the site doesn't hate small screens or try to achieve giant layouts.

Well, I'm sure that's true, too, in its own way.

What goes wrong with them?

Negatives forces in a sideways scroll to fit everything in while simultaneously squishing up the nav. links up to so they take up two lines. It only scrolls maybe 5px, but that's enough that it's obviously wrong. (If it'd just taken the space off the left-hand empty space, who woulda known?) And the nav. links all squish up over the left side/entries, not the sidebar at all.

Drifting is just stuffed - I'm just gonna take a screencap, rather than try'n explain. (Apologies for the giant images, but I figured you'd wanna seem in real-size. If not so, I'll go shrink'm for you, just lemme know!)

With the side-scroll to the left-

With the side-scroll to the right-

And the header on Zesty takes up about a third of the page, which I personally think is awful, but can understand that is possibly intentional and some people would like it.

...on the upside, I think Transmogrified is Really Super Awesome Cool, and core2 is fun to play around with!

Sounds like you've found at least one bug there. It's probably worth submitting a Support request (www.dreamwidth.org/support/submit) with the details of your browser and screen resolution, and someone can figure out what needs fixing.

=/ TWEWY is good for icons - everything either shinks down nicely or is already pixelart to begin with. (Damn my cheapness! No room for heaps of icons! *laughs*)
Still, if you have to have one, Rhyme is super cute, so! :D

Well, if it was already a well-known issue, there's not much point! But since it doesn't seem to be~

Hm, we had to tweak how the margins were being set because of some problems with IE7 when the navstrip was turned on. It sounds like that could have been the cause...
