Removing links from date and removing (no subject) lines.

1) Is there a way I can remove the links from the date on Transmogrified?

2) I would also like to know how to remove "(no subject)" from entries and comments that do not have a subject by editing layers. (I know there is a way to do it through CSS, but I don't like the slight space it leaves behind.)

2) Applied that code to my theme layer, but it still leaves a space. From looking at the source code of my journal, it looks like it the "(no subject)" titles disappear by attributing a class called "invisible" to them. So I'm assuming that method is still done using CSS. Code here, if you were curious:

Yeah invisible is the class making sure screenreader users always have a subject line to be able to navigate between comments. There are plans to add a no-subject class for style designers but this isn't live yet (I'm the one who's currently working on the bug actually). I'm wondering where the space comes from because the invisible class was implemented in such a way that it shouldn't be, well, visible. :) I'll have to think about this.

And I think I could use a selector to only add the margin onto subject titles that aren't "(no subject)".

Okay, adding this code does the trick to making sure I can still have the margins I want and prevent those margins from showing up when I'm removing the (no subject) line:

display: none; }

h3 a {
margin-bottom: 5px; }

h4 a {
margin-bottom: 5px; }

I feel so silly for not thinking about this. The h3 and h4 margins are of course still going to be displayed because they're not being hidden. The link is the only thing that would be hidden, so the margins would have to be added to the links.
