[personal profile] allopenstar posting in [community profile] style_system
Hi,

I am using the layout Brittle, and I am interested in changing the line height of the text, especially the main body text. How would I go about doing this? Where would I be able to find the source code so that I can edit it? Is there a way where I can edit without touching the source code?

I have no experience in using CSS at all, so any amount of help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Easiest way to do it is to put some CSS into the Custom CSS box
http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/options?group=customcss

I've not ever changed line height so I had to look it up
http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_dim_line-height.asp

but I think putting
#canvass {line-height:90%;}

should work if you want it to be fore every single line of text on the page (canvass is everything), if you just want it to be for the entries then replace #canvass with #primary. You can set it in absolute pixel scale (almost certainly a bad idea) or in relative terms, 90% will give you a good starting point, then play-FWIW, I had to zoom to read the text in your entries and I've got pretty good eyesight on a fairly standard size screen.
