When I first starting using DW (at least using my RP to read the communities I had joined), at the bottom of my page, there were the links for "previous 20" and "next 20." Suddenly, they disappeared and now nothing I do is bringing them back, not even resetting everything back to default. It makes catching up a little annoying and difficult.

The best place for this is probably to submit a support request (www.dreamwidth.org/support/submit) as it sounds like a bug. There was recently a fix pushed, because those links were displaying even when there weren't any previous entries. However, it sounds like they've removed them in too many cases.

Your reading page only displays entries from the past two weeks, and the previous/next 20 links only appear if there are more entries than fit on one page. It looks like there are currently only seven entries on your reading page, so that's why the links are missing. It's not anything that you accidentally changed.
