Header issues

I'm currently using a layout with a custom header. I would like my journal title and subtitle to not show up, but if I change the code in the CSS to "display: none", the entire header disappears. If I delete the titles in the Customize Style section, the header itself also disappears. Is there any way to keep my header image, but have the titles removed?

Thanks in advance!

You'll have to call the title/subtitle wrappers specifically. Like so:

#title, #subtitle {
display: none;
}

(Uhh, possibly that is .title, .subtitle, but I can never remember.)
