I'm using this layout by
sarken and am having a few problems with it.
In the preview, it shows a tiny icon for the link "Grant Access" (a little key) in the topbar. I have uploaded the image to my own server and replaced http://yoursite/images/ with the correct url, but that icon doesn't show up.I'm having the same problem with the tiny icon for other DW users. All the other tiny icons do show up. Any idea why?
Also, I would actually like to set the calendar to the same height as the rest of the topbar. Right now, the bottom sticks out a bit. Yet I have no idea what to edit in the CSS.
My CSS:
ETA: SOLVED the issue with the tiny user icon. :)

Date: 2010-10-30 02:23 pm (UTC)2. Be sure to change the img url of this line as well to the DW userhead of your choice:
img[src*='user.png'], img[src*='lj-userinfo.gif'], img[src*='userinfo.gif'], img[src*='user_other.png'], img[src*='user_staff.png'], img[src*='.ico']3. Add
background-color: #8D8589;to.has-navstrip #secondary. This gives that section a background color, so that it all looks level. You may want to play with the margins of.topnav, if you want more spacing between that top section and the top page navigation links.Hopefully, this makes sense. I'm a bit sleep deprived.

Date: 2010-10-30 02:55 pm (UTC)I do have one more question. (I'm a pain, I know...) I can't seem to get my Network (feeds) to show up in the navigation menu. It's also in the preview, so I kind of figured it would show automatically once I have an RSS feed in my network, but it doesn't. The whole feeds thing is new to me, so I might just be doing something wrong. Nevertheless, any thoughts?

Date: 2010-10-30 10:04 pm (UTC)Also, I was reading your other query about Active Entries, and unfortunately for you, that's a paid account feature as well. It won't show up for you in modules so you can't turn it off and it will show up when you view paid account journals in your style. The next best thing is adding this to your css:
.module-active { display: none; }You can hide that module using css!

Date: 2010-10-30 02:47 pm (UTC)I'm not 100% certain this is the problem, but I think you need to make sure to define the location of the images in the block under /* ICONS */ as well as (instead of?) under the /* LOCKED AND RESTRICTED ENTRIES */ block. (FYI, there are number of other icons that aren't defined under the icons block as well, but they're less used functions so you may not have noticed.)
I'm not all that good with CSS though, so I might just be mucking things up. Be sure to save a copy of the previous version if I'm wrong so you can revert if necessary. :)
