Hi. I have a similar request to
kake's making journal title link to recent entries, but I'm using a different style and, for bonus points, know absolutely nothing about custom styles.
I'm using Funky Circles for my theme. Specifically I'd like to have the words in the header (journal title) link back to the main entry page, or the page you get when you hit http://erika.dreamwidth.org/
As an extra special bonus request, I'd also like to have space between my entry text and the metadata below it: mood, music, location, tags etc. I did see this entry about it but from what I know of CSS the solution provided for her would only work for tags specifically, and I need all metadata separated from the entry (but not from each other).
I am currently a free user but plan to pay up as soon as my student money hits the bank, so if I can't do it now, just tell me how to do it then. :)
Thank you so much!

Date: 2010-07-04 07:59 pm (UTC)As for metadata, this CSS worked for me:
.metadata {
margin-top: 2em;
}
This goes into http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/options?group=customcss/the big box.

You make theme layers here:
http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/advanced/layers
Under "Create a layout-specific layer", Type: Theme, and Layout: Funky Circles. You'll then see it under "Your Layers" under Child of layer 76023: Funky Circles. Use the edit button to put in the code I linked to.
Then go to:
http://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/advanced/styles
Edit whatever style you have to have the Layout "Funky Circles" (I think it should already) and then find "Funky Linked Titles" as the theme. I bet you'll probably already have a wizard layer, so leave that be, and it should save your wizard customizations. But you might want to copy paste those from the layers section if you're worried beforehand, just to save them.
