HI
I'm new here and would like some advice/help in designing a layout for my journal.
Somewhat familiar with CSS and learning more about it everyday.
I've been looking at several layouts here at DW, very, very nice designs.
I'm going to be doing web page design for my own computer consulting business in the future and am taking a course in the Spring. Have some knowledge of html.
I often read the the source codes on webpages to get some ideas... ;)
I'd also like to design some mood themes too.
Where does one do that? Here?
Thanks! :D

edit: Saw the links here. Going to take a very close look at those.

Would also like to hear from people here how long it took them to design a layout and any tips would be very helpful.

Those links for the Tabula Rasa, etc. are very, very helpful.

Thanks again! :)

Hi everyone :)

I'm using the Modular layout, and love everything about it — except that text in blockquote is automatically in italics, overriding and ignoring any italics tags within the text. I can't find anywhere in the wizard to change it, and I was wondering if there was some CSS thing I could do. I'd really prefer it if there was no extra coding on blockquote on my journal, just the indenting. Is there a way to do this in Modular?

I know basically nothing about CSS except where to copy/paste code I'm given, heh. If anyone could help, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I'm working on a character journal and would like to get rid of the date/time that appears on each entry. I know there's an 'invisible' or 'display-none' code but for the life of me I can not figure out what the date and time fall underneath in coding. Can anyone help me out on this?
