Hi all,

I'm one of those people who's a little too attached to her lj style, and have done some importing so i can use it here. All the compiling has worked fine, and the layout customisations are wonderful, but i seem to have no usernames for the entries on my reading page. At the moment i can recognise the user by icon, but i'd really like to find the source of the problem. If anyone can help, or knows of a work around, that'd be fabulous. The style i'm currently using is LJ's Mixit, but Flexible Squares does the same thing. Thanks again!

Oh, bless you, that's perfect! I was looking for something in the code to do with username visibility, i didn't even think that the friends/read issues would affect it. Thanks bunches.

Glad I could help! I wonder how hard it would be to convert your style to S2 core2, hrm.

I've no idea. I'm still mastering S2 core 1, ;P. I daren't start core 2, not until i've finished this uni degree, or it'll eat my life. This Mixit style i'm currently using is heavy on hacks in the customised layer (not my hacks either) but the Flexible Squares one would probably be easier to have a play with.
