I'm trying to make Basic Boxes resemble the ancient  3 Column LJ layout - anybody remember it?

What I'd like to do is...

1. move Date and time to the right of the userpic on my entries

2. Have the entry management links at the top right

3. Move my userpic/icon up nearer to the entry subject title.

4. Be able to make all 3 columns narrower if that makes sense?

I did manage to find the original 3 Column source code but when I compiled it I got errors.
Here it is

I was wondering if maybe it would be easier to fix the errors - if possible? than do the above with Basic Boxes?

Thanks in advance :-)

Oh, I remember it. I used to make some use of it myself. I'll be interested to see what can be made of it here.

Are you trying to compile it using core1 as the base? You'll have to do that to have any chance of it working properly. Also, some of the stuff with 'friends' in the name got changed to 'circle' on DW, which can cause compilation errors. I don't really touch core1 though because at this point it's a legacy feature.

1 & 3:

3 requires S2 changes and would involve compiling a custom copy of the layer, though if you're game for that I can write the changes.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 4, though it sounds like the margin size option in the wizard (under Presentation) might be it?
