[personal profile] sally_maria posting in [community profile] style_system
I like the colours and images in Koi, the Wide Open layout, but I prefer to have my entries and sidebar modules more clearly defined. So I had the bright idea of trying to use them in an Abstractia layout (Au Lait, to be precise, as the colours seemed to match best.)

I can change the background easily enough - you can see it on [community profile] sally_test but even though I have the file name for the header image, putting it into the header box on the Abstractia layout doesn't seem to do anything.

Am I attempting something beyond the powers of man? or is it just something obvious that I've missed.

Thank you for any help you can give me.

Very quick answer (wish I could provide an alternative solution but I can't do that right now): not something you've missed at all. This option is broken in Abstractia (bug has been filed, yadda yadda).

Well, I can tell you it's not you - I just tested it on one of my journals with a different image and it doesn't show up either.

Abstractia is a nonstandard layout, which means it has a lot of from-scratch code - I suspect something in the header image code got messed up, though I'll have to dig farther into the code to see.
