Hi, I'm Tyger. Taught myself some HTML back in the days when 4.0 was slightly old but still relevant, and have picked up some CSS by wanting to mess with layouts, mainly by swearing at it until it works for the first time. (Once I get it the first time it usually works the second time... Usually.)
Don't know any S2 - did some copy/paste work that occasionally involved copy/pasting into specific bits of other copy/pastes, but nothing more complicated than that. It looks like DOOM when you know nothing about it, but if this is a basic tutorial I'll definitely give it a go! >:
I'm almost-certainally going to make a new layout, but probably something very very fannish - probably Kingdom Hearts of some stripe, but maybe pokémon. Would that still be okay to put up in dreamwidthlayouts, or should I keep it to fandom-specific circles (assuming I don't get possessive, um. *laughs*)
