When you say the metadata is tabbed over, is it possible that this is due to the left margin/padding on an enclosing ul? I know that one often trips me up when I'm working with unordered lists. If so, ul#name {margin-left: 0; padding-left: 0;} should take care of it. (Both so that it works in older and more scatter-brained browsers.)
