Dreamwidth style system discussion

My guess is that the rule in the style for that text has a greater specificity than the rule in your stylesheet--if you know how to use web dev tools to look at that rule, maybe compare the rule that ends up getting applied with the rule you want to be applied in your stylesheet and see if you can alter that so it's more specific than the style one? The cheat way would be to use the !important declaration.
