DW -> IJ Conversion

Hi guys! So there's a guide to convert IJ styles to DW, but I'm looking around and there doesn't seem to be any guide for converting the other way. I've made some progress but when I go in to compile my custom layer I'm getting a ton of errors. The current one is "can't declare usage of non-existent property" (property use layout_type; is the italicized line). I'm picking at it slowly but I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone has any experience with converting from DW to IJ and any finicky things I need to change in the raw code.

If it helps, I'm trying to convert Basic Boxes. Thanks in advance!

Basic Boxes Modifications

I'm trying to make Basic Boxes resemble the ancient  3 Column LJ layout - anybody remember it?

What I'd like to do is...

1. move Date and time to the right of the userpic on my entries

2. Have the entry management links at the top right

3. Move my userpic/icon up nearer to the entry subject title.

4. Be able to make all 3 columns narrower if that makes sense?

I did manage to find the original 3 Column source code but when I compiled it I got errors.
Here it is

I was wondering if maybe it would be easier to fix the errors - if possible? than do the above with Basic Boxes?

Thanks in advance :-)

Moving the nav links in Basic Boxes

Help!!

I've just set up a mirror community for one on LJ, and I want to move the nav links (recent entries/member posts/archive/profile) to the centre, under the header box.

Is there any way of doing that? And if so, could someone talk me through it - I'm not that confident with coding-type stuff.

Image in header box

Hi everyone,

For themes where there is a header box (where the journal title, subtitle, and name of the current page appears) - such as Basic Boxes - is there a way to put an image into the box? I know that there is an option to add a Header Image under Customize Style -> Style -> Images, but that appears to place the image behind the header box.

I have a feeling this is one of those things that seems simple at first but is actually exceedingly complicated. But if anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it very much.
