Custom sidebar module (Transmogrified) w/ javascript possible?

Is it possible to add a custom sidebar module, where I can place a javascript downcount timer?

I don't think you can add in Javascript unless the service has been whitelisted.

You might want to request in suggestions that whatever service it is be whitelisted.

And even then I don't think it'd work in the style--I don't think we have style embeds yet.

They're not Javascript, but HTML counters, yes. You can have an HTML counter in an entry or on your profile. I'm not sure about the sidebar, though.

You should be able to have an HTML counter in a free text module on the sidebar, I think.

Oh, I mean the HTML based countdown tickers that I've seen! They are image based.
