What happens when you go to the Customize Style page and choose "2 Columns (sidebar on the right)" at the bottom of the page?

Ah. It looks like the creator only intended it to display with the sidebar on the left. I don't know enough about coding to know why they said you have to choose the "sidebar to the right" layout to make it work, but I tweaked the stylesheet to flip the canvas to the left and sidebar to the right and that seems to work. In the custom stylesheet you pasted in the "Use Embedded CSS" box make these changes:

Under:

/*--- containers and things ---*/

change the #canvas #primary from float: right to float: left

and in /*--- sidebar options ---*/

change .two-columns-right #secondary from float: left; to float: right;

You might also uncheck the Style Credit box under Modules since it is pulling in the info for base style you are using rather than the custom design.
