Tags security

I imported my LJ entries today, and with them my tags. Everything went perfectly. I just have one question: I have a couple of tags which are showing up as private. I presume that's because I haven't used them yet. Will they appear in the sidebar once I use them? Thanks in advance!

If you haven't used those tags, they will be listed as private, but once you post an entry under that tag, it will show up on the sidebar.

Yep, that's what I thought, just wanted to check. Mods can delete this entry if necessary.
